Resolution 04601RESOLUTTON NO. 4601 CALLING FOR BIDS FOR LEGAL ADVERTISING FOR THE' CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1952-1953 IHESOLVE'D BY THE COU1NICIL OF THE' CITY CF ALAVEDA that said Council will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 P. M. on Wednesday, June 4, 1952, for the publication of all legal advertising of said City during the fiscal year onding June 30., 1953. Such advertising must be published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Alaneda for a period of not less than one year immediately preceding the making of such bid and having a bona fide paid circulation of at least 2,500 copies. Said advertising shall be in accordance with the following speelfications: (1) All act erg tictuner s shall be set in solid six -point (non parell) type, In columns of 24 ems to the line and 144 ems to the square, except that by request of the officer authorizing the same such advert1sement may be set in such 2arger type and with such spacing between lines as such officer may direct; (2) Titles and sub headings shall be set in six -point capitals (nonpareil black face type, or in such larger type as may be specified by the officer authorn - Izing the advertisement. Bidders shall state in their proposals for doing said legal advertising the price per square of 144 etas, set in solid six -point (nonpareili t1pe, incolumns of 24 ems to the linaccording to the following schedule: A price per square for the 1st insertion; A price per square for the find insertion; A ppice per squa3m for the 3rd and for each subsequent insertion. 0 Bids nust be pr�a presented to the City Clerk, in the ity Eall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for legal Advertising". Contract for such legal advertising, if awarded will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. The newspaper published by the bidder to whon such contract is awarded shall be known, for the term of such contract, as the "Official Newspaper" of the City for legal advertising. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tires - Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of May, 1952, by the following vote, to Orsi.
