Uis neeting, a budSet representinZ a financial plan for conductinj the affairs
of the City of ziaAeda for the fiscal year oeginning luly 1, 1952, and endimg,
June 30, 1953, which budaet is marked, Wiled with the City Olork in open meeting,
of the City Council, September 2, 1952":

that said budget as submitted to this Council at to aeeting, and each and every
part thereof, be, and the aann is hereb:, approved and adopted as the budSet for
the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1952-53, and that the expenditures of the
various sums of money therein provided to be s;ent for salaries and wages, main-
tenance and operution and capital outlay by each department as t''lliereill listed in
detail are hereby approved and authorized in total, by the above object classifi-
cation, as the apropriaticns for the fiscal year ended c1 30, 1953.

the fibcal year 1952-53, the specified sums fo- the purpose 3f meeting the cost
of salaries an, waSes paid officers and e,aployees, the cost of maintenance, opera-
tion, and for equipment and other capital outlay of the respective departments,
divisions, offices and soards of the City, and for all other purposes designated
in said buuget for the rGspective purposes of the said departments, divisions,
offices and boards of the City, and for such special funds and other purposes
designated in said budEet; and
DE !T HWOLVAD that all of the aopropriations herein provided
for are nate out of the General Fund for the fiscal year 1952-53, except those
made to or for purposes fol 4}" ich special funds are established, and as to such
last mentioned purposes said appropriations are made out of tke s''oecial funds
respectively established therefor.
M IT EMMA AnSOLViD that such expenditures as way huvo buen uade by
the several departments, divisions, offices and boards of the City after the be-
ginniRg of the fiscal year 1952-53, and prior to the adoption of this resolution,
and have been or may be duly approved by the City Auditor, are hereby ratified,
confirmed and approved, and shall be respectively charqed against the appropria-
tions h6rein and in said budget provided for.
