MMORIZING ATTENDANCE OF NEMERS OF THE COUNCIL,
OFFICERS AND 1PI'v1PLOYEES OF THE CITY OF, 1-'iLAE'111DA AT THE,,
AMAL CONFERENCE OF TEE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
TO BE HELD Q THEREFOR
WEEREAS, the Fifty"fourth Annual Conference of the League of California
Cities will be held at San Diego, California, on October 12, 13, 14 and 15, 1952;
and
WEEREAS, the Council deems it necessary and proper and for the benefit
of the City of Alameda that members of the City Council and other officers
and employees of the City of Alameda shall attend said Conference;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALA�I,TEDA that the members of the City Council and other officers of the City
of Alameda, and such employees as may be designated by the heads of the
several departments of the City, be, and the same are, and each of them is
hereby, authorized to attend said Annual Conference of the League of California
Cities at San Diego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $1,250. be, and the same is
hereby, appropriated from the Conferences and Conventions accounts of the
offices and departments sending representatives to said Conference, for the
purpose of paying the expenses of the above enumerated persons who may attend
said Conference.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of October, 1952, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and
