AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE ENCROACIEvIEINT
PERMIT 'TO PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR
INSTALLATION OF GkS MAIN ON CITY PROF ARTY ON
BAY FARM ISLAND
WTEREAS, Pacl.fic Gas and Electric Company has requested permission to
construct 68 feet of gas nain on City of Alameda property located adjacent to
Maitland Drive near its intersection with Doolittle Drive, on Bay Farm Island, said
main to be used in connection with improvement of gas service to the residents of
Bay Farm Island.; and
WHEREAS., it appears to be to the interest of the City of Alameda that such
pernission be granted,,
NON' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B-2- TRE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF AIAMEDA, that
the City Manager be,, and he is hereby authorized to issue to Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, on behalf of the City of Alameda, a revocable encroact-mient permit for the
construction of 68 feet of as main on City of Alameda property at the loc.ation

said permit to be on such terms and subject to such conditions as, in the judgment
of the City Manager, shall be necessary to fully and properly protect the interests
of the City, of Alameda.
