sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, February 3, 1953, for the
furnishing to the City of approximately 2000 lineal feet of 6" portable quick coupling

with said Specificationsand Provisions. maids must be prasented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for 6" Portable quick coupling aluminum pressure pipe and 8''
portable quick coupling aliuminum suction ripe", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who subnits the lowest and best bid.
