Provisions for furnistinE to the City of Alameda one (1) 8" jointer, mounted on a
cast iron stand and equipped with a 1 HP, 3-phase, 220/440 volt motor and accessory
items, No. Ms 1-53-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on 7anuary 20, 1953, be,
and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOMED, FURTUER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 otclock.P. Y. on Tuesday, February 3, 1953, for
the furnishing to the City of one (1) 8" jointer, mounted on a cast iron stand and
equipped with a 1 HP, 3-phase, 220/440 volt motor and accessory items, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for 8" jointer, mounted on a cast iron stand and equipped with a
1 HP$ 3-phase) 220/440 volt motor and accessory items", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the previsions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
