VMMEAS, the Legislature of the State U.E. California, in its regular session
of 1953 assembled, has passed Assembly Bill No. 1047, findinC and declaring "that
portions of the land heretofore granted to the City of Alameda by Chapter 348 of the
Statutes of 1913, as amended, have ceased to be tidelands and sub merSed lands and
are free from all trusts and restrictions imposed thereon by any of the provisions
of the granting act", and vosting the City of,Alamoda Mith the unqualified right to
own, hold, use, sell, lease, or otherwise dispose of" said lands; and
IVEREAS, the purpose and reason for Assembly it Uo. 1047 is fully set
forth in said Assembly Bill; and
the best interests of the City of Ala nada will be served by having
said Assembly Bill No. 1047 enacted into law;.
