�'MMMI tile Alameda County Highway Advisory Committee has, under date of
Tanuary 16, 1953, prepared and submitted to the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Alameda, a summary statement recommending a system of higfnoays of metropolitan
Wortance in ilameda County and the cities therein for survey by the Collier
Committee; and
this Council is fully advised of the recommendations embodied in
said summary statement and is of the opinion that the best interests of the County
of AlRmoda and Me cities therein will be served by the adoption of said recommenda-
NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY TM CMUCIL MITTFIE, CITY OF that
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby memorialized
and respectfully urged and requested to adopt the summary statement prepared by the
Alameda County 111C --way Idvisory Coi-,miittee, as the report of said Board of Supervisors
to be submitted by it to the Toint Fact Finding Committee on HiShuays.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted. by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of January, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
