RESOLUTION NO. 4736
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ENCROACM11ENT TO
INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS
IvIlLPREAS, 'the Independent Order of Odd Fellows has submitted to this Council
its application for a permit to encroach for a distance of not to exceed three inches
upon 'the sidewalk area immediately adjacent to the Park Street and Santa Clara Avenue
frontages of its building situated at the nor hetes corner of Park Street and Santa
Clare Avenue, for the purpose of permitting the redecoration and beautification of
said store frontages by the replacement of existing tile with Arizona Flagstone
Veneer; and

be served by permitting the. requested encorachment for the aforesaid purpose-,

the Mayor of the City of Alaraieda, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
execute an encroachment permit whereby the aforementioned Independent Order of Odd
Fellows will be permitted to encroach upon the sidewalk area hereinbefore described
for a distance of not to exceed three inches (311) for the purpose of redecorating

and beautifying the store frontages of' its building, all in accordance with that
certain draving, of the contemplated improvements submitted ,%pith its application
'therefor, and the City Clerk is authorized to attest the same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assenbled on the 17th day of February, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Tones, Sweeney and 'President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
