Cdr EEREAS, the City Manager, Carl Froerer, with the permission of the City
Council, will be absent from the City of Alameda for a period of approximately one
week, on City business;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL7ED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAI` DA that
J. P, Clark be, and he is hereby, appointed Acting City Manager of the Cityoff`
Alameda during said absence of the City Manager.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
an, regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 17th day of February, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
