RESOLUTION NO. 4744
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SFECIAL PROVISIONS AND PIANS
FOR THE RESURMING OF TEE GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the resurfacing of the golf course parking lot, which are numbered
PW 3-53-4 and were it in the office of the City Clerk on Yarch 3, 1953;
ETOW T11EIREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 01" `'_ETTE CITY OFALAT,,,7,EDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, nizubered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RE,SOLVED, FURTIFFER, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVEM, FURMHER 'that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Thesday, March 17, 1953, for
the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and processes,
tools and equipment necessary for the work Lereinabove referred to, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on
the outside "Proposal for Res facing of Golf Course Parking Lot", or similar des-
ignation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the fored ging Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alaneda in regular
meeting assembled on the 3rd day of march, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Tones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
