AND DIRECTING CITY CLEEK TO ADVERTISE

Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda nine (9) new, 1953 latest model,
two -door sedan automobiles, for the Police Department, No, MS 3-53-49 filed in the
office of the City Clerk on each 3, 1953, be, and the same are hereby, approved
and adopted.
RESOL-VIED, FURTT=�R, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the houx of 8:05 ofelock P. M. on Tuesday, March 17, 1953, for
the furnishing to the City of nine (9) new, 1.953 latest model, two -door sedans, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk in the City Hall, Alameda,,California, under sealed cover and plainly
ria ked on the outside, "Proposal for 9 new, 1953 two -door sedans", or similar des-
ignation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject qny or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for spaled bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifioations and PTovisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 3rd day of March, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Tones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
