Resolution 04753E RESOLUTION NO. 4753 RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT TI-rE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTaUCION AND COMPLETION BY THHE CITY OF ALAMEDA OF THE FOITOWING MUNICI PAL iMPROVEMENT, TO WIT: RECREATION AND PARK IMPROVEMENTS, AND THAT THE COST OF SAID MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT WILL REQUIRE AN EXPENDITURE GREATER THAN THE, AMOTUN'T ALLOWED THEREFORE BY THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda as follows: Section I. That the public interest and necessity demthe acquisition, constr=0777777-70 ' pletion by the City of Alameda of the foland lowing nunicipal im- provement, to it Recreation and Park ImpLovements: Recreation and park improvements, comprising fencing, filters and bethhnuses, heating,, pi urs blrT,.. electrical and cleaning facilities, and pool and bathhouse apparatus and equipment; two community recreation centers, including buildings, athletic and gymnasium facilities and equipment, and furnishings; park development, including buildings and furnishings, playground and athletic facilities., apparatus and equipment; and rights of way, site preparation and other works, properties or structures necessary or convenient for recreation and park im- provements of the City of Alameda. Section 2. That the acquisition, construction and completion of said municipal improvementare necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said Citye Section 3. That the cost of the acquisition, construction and completion of said mATTITral—Impro vement is a0wil.JC be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City and that said municipal improvement will require an expendituare greater than the amount allowed therefor by the annual tax levy and will require the incurrdng of a bonded indebtedness therefor.
