AUTHORIZING EXECUTION' OF AGREEMENT WITH CENTRAL AVENUF,
LAND DEVELOPMENT CO., A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, IN THE
MATTER OF COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN SUBDIVISION
KNOWN AS TRACT #1249
FIFER EAS, Central Avenue Land Development Co., a limitedpartnership, has
prepared for approval of the City Council the Final Map of that certain subdivision
known as Tract #1249; and,
WEEREAS, the said Central Avenue and. Development Co., a limited partnership,
has requested the City of Alameda to authorize the construction of the improvements
in said subdivision subsequent to the approval by the City Council of said Final Map,
and has signified its willingness to enter into an agreement with the City of Alameda
for the construction of said improvements and to post a bond guaranteeing faithful
performance of said work, all in accordance with the provisions of City of Alameda
Ordinance No. 700 N. S.; and
WhEREAS, the City Council believes that it will be to the advantage and
benefit of the City of Alameda to have said work performed; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement covering the construction of improvements in
said Tract #1249 has been prepared and submitted to this Council at its regular
meeting held April 7. 1953, and has been ordered filed with the City Clerk of said
City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI -11E, COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as

That the form of agreement hereinabove referred to and the terms and provi-
sions thereof Na, and the same are hereby, approved.
That the City Manager of the City of Alameda be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda and the City
Clerk is authorized to attest the same.
