RESOLVED 7.,` T. -.D' COT,.NCIL OF THE CITY' OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda two (2) new, comnlete trucks, includ-
ing hoists and two cubic yard capacity dump bodies, No. MS 3-53-5, filed in the office
of the City Clerk on April 21, 1953, be, and the same are hereby, anproved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 otclock P. M. on Tuesday, May 5, 19-103, for the furni-
shing to the City of two (2) new, comniete truckso including hoists and two cubic yards
dump bodies, In nncordance with spid Specificntions and Provisions. Bids must be
presentqd to the City Clerk, In the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover
and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for two new, complete trucks, inclading
hoists and dump bodies", or similar designntion.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter
of snid City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest nnd best bid. The vight
is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordanco witn the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assemlled on the 21st day of April, 19013, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Mores! and President Sweeney,
NOES: None.
ABSENI: None.
