sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. E. on 7,'Jredne,,day, June 3, 19539 for the
furnishing to the City of all labor, materiaJs and equipment necessaryfor repairing
and/or constructing Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, drive way, curb and gutter in
the streets of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1954, in
accordance with said Specifications and Special Provisions. Dids rnust 'be presented
to the City Clerk, in the City hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly -marked on the outside "Proposal for Repair of Sidewalk, etc.", or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Harter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any on all bids.
Said Specifications and Special Provisions maybe had by any prospective,
bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the it Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Altc,,ieda T -1 -tries -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Special Provisioi° s.
i. the undersiqnad, he certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly—introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reCular
meeting assembled on the 19th day of Eay, 1953, by the following vote, to wit:
