property line, and other work appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending June
30, 19542 which Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans are numbered PW 5-53-8
and were filed with 3he City Clerk of the City of Alameda on Nay 199 19�53;

sealed bids up to the hour of 8:On otclock P. 3. on '',1ednesday, June 3, 1953, for the
furnishing to the City cf all labor, materials,machinery, tools and equipment necos-
sary for tKe installation of he laterals and other work appurtenant thereto, for
the fiscal year ending June 30, a954, in accordance with said Specifications and
Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Installation of House Laterals". or similar designation.
Contract, if avarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The rQht is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, Califoinia.
The City Clerk is he directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
