a certain indenture dated the 7th day of February, 1953, made

by and between. !'Lliliam S. Bean and Lee H. Cavanaugh, grantors, and City of Alameda,
a municipal corporation, grantee, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered
by said grantors to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREASI by" said indenture, the grantors granted to the City of Alameda
a permanent easement and right of way to, at any time, or from time to time, con-
struct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew an underSround sanitary sever
and storm drain in, throuEh, under and Wong, that certain piece or strip of land in
the City. of Alaceda, County of Alameda, State of California, particularly described
in said indenture; and
V`y= the City of Qameda did on the 19th day of Yay, 1953, accept

said conveyance and acquired possession of thesaid easement in said real property;

the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the
City of Alameda, and said it Council, acting for and in behalf of said City,
hereby consonts to the recordation of said indenture and orders this resolution,
to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
I$ the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of May, 1953, by Ze following vote,
to wit:
