APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE
BOARD OF EDUCATION—
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alaneda, and upon nDmination
of the Mayor, MRS. LEE H. CAVANAUGH Is hereby appointed to the office of menr of
the Board of Education of the City of Alameda for a term commencing on July 1, 1953,
and expiring on June 30, 1954, to fill the unexpired term of Harry Pennell, resigned,
and to serve until her successor is appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 9th day of June, 1953, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President
Sweeney, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
