TRANSFERRING $249,620.83 FROM THE IN LIEU TAX FUNIND
TO THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, certain moneys have been deposited in the In Lieu Tax Fund
pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 2887, adopted by this Council on,
July 6. 1943; and
WHEREAS, the sum of $249,620.83 has been expended from the General Fund
for the purposes authorized in the Act referred to in the said Resolution, namely,
for law enforcement and the regulation and control and fire protection of highway
traffic in the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the sum of 1249,620.83 be, and the same is harebyq transferred from the In Lieu Tax
Fund to the General Fund.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 29th day of' June, 1953, by the following
vote, to wit:
EYES: Councilmen Jones, McCall, More si and President Sweeney, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Anderson, (1).
