RESOLUTION NO. 4902
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS,
WHEREAS,FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO SEWAGE PUMPING PLANTS IN
EIGHTH STREET, ONE AT PORTOLA AVENUE AND ONE AT TAYLOR
AVENUE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid be, and the same are #y approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the performance and completion of _ work specifie
in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will rocei

equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with sai
Specifications and Provisions, Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the

Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Half Alameda, California,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 207th day of April, 19544 by the following vote, to wit
