RESOLVED :BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda eight (8) new, 1954 latest model,
2 -door sedans, with standard shift, for the Police Department, No, MS 3-54-4, filed
in the office of the City Clerk on March 16i 1954, be, and the same are hereby approved
and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Coimcil of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to Lhe hour of 8:05 0clock P. M. on Tuesday, Qril 6, 1954, for the
furnishing to the City of eight (8) new, 19154 latest model, 2 -door sedans, with
standard shift, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California under sealed cover
and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for eight (8) new, 1954, 2 -door Sedans",
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Imes Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersiFned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
neeting assenbled on the 16th day of March, 19,54, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President Sweeney, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
