TRANSFERRING 8,34,583.67 FROM, THE IN LIEU TAX FUND TO
THE, GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, certain moneys have been deposited in the In Lieu Tax Fund
pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 2887, adopted by this Council on
ju.1y 6, 19h.3,' and
WHEREAS, the sum of 1$34,583.67 has been expended from the General Fund
for the purposes authorized. in the Act referred to in the said resolution, namely,
for law enforcement and the regulation. and control and fire protection of highway
traffic in the City of Alameda;

NOW THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAYTEDA that
the sum of $34,583.67 be, and the same is hereby, transferred fron the In Lieu Tax
Fund to the General Fund.
The Auditor and the Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to make
said transfer on their respective books.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assenbled on the 2nd day of March, 1954, by the following vote, to wit*
AYES: Councilmen McCall, Moresi and Vice President; Anderson, (3).
NOES : None.
ABSFNT*. Councilman Jones and President Sweeney, (2).
