POSITIONS FROM 3 TO 2, IN THE STREET AUD ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, that, in order to
take care of an immediate need., namely, the employment of one more Junior Civil
Engineer, paragraph 11., Section 2. of Resolution No. 4786, be, and the same is hereby
amended by increasing Junior Civil Engineer positions from 1� to 5, and decreasing
Engineering Assistant positions from 3 to 20 in the Street and Engineering Department,
as follows

RESOLVEED, FURTHER., that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede
those portions of Resolution No. L786, and of any other resoliation, in conflict here-
with, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only,
hereby rescinded and annulled.
