and Provisions for furnishing eighty (80) single pendent type liFhting standards
with luminaires to the City of Alameda, No. MS 1-54-1, filed in the office of the
City Clerk on January 19, 1954, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
R1ESOLVE'D. FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, Febru2ry 2, 1954, for
the furnishing to the City of eighty (80) single pendent type lighting standards with
luminaires, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposai for 8- Lighting Standards with
Luminaires", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alaneda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Tie solutionaeras duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 19th day of January, 1954, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Co-Luicilmen Anderson, jones, McCall, Moresi and President
Sweeney, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
