APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE
SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that oursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination
of the Mayor, S. DOUGLAS D. STAFFORD is hereby appointed to the office of member
of the Social Service Board of the City of Alameda, for a tern expiring June 30,
1956, to fill the unexpired tern, of Mrs. Doris Phelan, resigned, and to serve
until her successor is appointed and is qualified.
I,, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced, and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 5th day of January, 1954, by the following vote, to wit. -
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and. President
Sweeney, (5).
