TO BE KNOWN AS "POLICE TRIVEL R71OLVING FUND" BY
!NCR{AS ING THE SAME FROM $500.00 TO $1,000.00 ANTID
TRANSFERRIMG 0500.00 FROM ACCOUNT 199.200 (2) THEHETO
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, on the 7th day of January,
19479 adopt its Resolution No. 3463, which resolution created a special fund known
as "Police Travel Revolving Fund", and did provide that said fund shall be maintained
at an amount of not to exceed Five 1-1d,xed 10500.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Manager and Chief of Police,
and experience has proven, that a fund of $500.00 is insufficient to properly care
for the travel expense of the Police Department of the City and that a son of not
to exceed One Thous2nd ($1,000.00) Dollars is necessary for such purpose;
NOW THERZPORI:a, BE !T RESOLVED BY THE COUSIC ILOF THE CITY OF ALA EDA that
Resolution No. 3463 be, and the same is hereby amended to provide that the unexpended
balance of the "Police Travel Revolvinn Fund" shall at no -Ame exceed the sun of One
Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars.
BE IT F-LTRT"1E;F RESOLVED that all resolutions or portions of resolution in
conflicth
eethe extent of such conflict only, be, and the same are herebrescindeand annulled.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the aum of $500.00 be, and thn same is hereby
transferred from Account No. 199.200 (2), Reserves—Reserve for Other Contingencies,
to snid "Police Travel Revolving Fund".
TheAuditor' and the Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to make
said transfer on their respective books and records.
