RESOLUTION NO. 4843
AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF COUNCILMEN AT CONFERENCE OF
AMERICAN MUNICIPAL ASSOCTP=ON, NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA,
NOVEMBER 29th TO DECEMBER 2nd, AND APPROPRIATING
$1200,00 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE INCIDENT TO SUCH
ATTENDANCE
W1-1EREASs the Annual Conference of American Municipal Association will be
held at New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 29th to December 2nd, 1953,; and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it necessary and proper and for the benefit of
the City of Alameda that -members of the City Council shall attend said Conference;
NOIAT THEREFOREI, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the members of the City Council be, and they are hereby, authorized to attend said
Annual Conference of American Municipal Association at New Orleans, Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED., that the sum of $1200,00 be, and the same is
hereby, appropriated from Expense Account No. 101.210 (3), for the purpose of paying
the expenses of the Councilmen who may attend said Conference.
Is the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 27th day of October.. 1953, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President
Sweeney, (5).
NOES: None.,
ABSENT: None,
