AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA FOR FEDERAL ALLOCATIONS TO LOCAL PUBLIC
HEALTH AGENCIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1953-1254 (A P1999.00 )
WHEREAS,, the State of California, through its Department of Public Health
has submitted a Contract for Federal Allocations to Local Public Health Agencies for
the fiscal year July 1, 1953, to and including, June 30., 1954; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the provisions -of said contract;
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that the City of Alameda should enter
into said contract in order that Federal funds allocat-ed may be used by the Alameda
Health Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said Contract for Federal Allocations to Local Public Health Agencies be entered into
and that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to execute said contract on behal.'�' of the City of Alameda,, and the City
Clerk is authorized to attest same.
