APPOINTING AN ACTING CITY MANIAIGER IN THE ABSE',,TCE
OF THE CITY MIANAGEER
WHEREAS, the City Manager, Carl Froerer, with the permission of the City
Council, will be absent from the City of Alameda for a period of approximately one
week, on City business;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RES ".)LVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI' CITY OF ALA DA that
J. P. Clark be, and he is hereby appointed Acting City Manager of the City of Alameda
during said. absence of the City Manager.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meet-
ing assembled on the 15th, day of September, 1953, by the following vote, to wit
