FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING .A TAS ON ALL REAL
AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALAYIEBA
FOR THE FISCAL UAR 1953-1954 AND APPORTIONING
THE SAME AMONG THE SEVERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY
RESOLVED BY T COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA DA that the rate of city taxes
to be levied for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1953, and ending; June 30, 1954,
upon all property assessed for taxation within the corporate limits of the City of
Alameda on the basis of the valuation thereof as shown by the assessment rolls in
the; office of the City Assessor of said City be, and the same is hereby., fixed as
follows
At the rate of one hundred and eighty-three cents (1830 on each
one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of said property
on the Unsecured Roll.* and
At the rate of one hundred and ninety-three cents (1930 on each
one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of said property
on the Secured Roll, .and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, for the purpose of raising the necessary
revenue for said City for the fiscal year 1953-1954, a tax be, and the same is hereby,
fixed and levied on each and every one hundred dollars (x$100) of assessed valuation
of all taxable property, real and personal,, within the corporate limits of said City,
as follows
On property on the Unsecured Rolf at the rate of One and 83/100
Dollars (01,83).; and
On property on the Secured Rolf at the rate 8f One and 93/100
Dollars (41-93); and
apportionedBE IT FURTIEER RESOLVED that said tax, and the moneys arising therefrom,
when collected, shall be, and the same are hereby, appropriated to and
