OF ALAMEDA THIRTY-THREE (33) CHROME
FIRE DEPARTMENT,, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA DA that the Specificrtions
and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda thirty-three 33) chrome easy
chairs for the Fire Department, No. MS 8-53-13, filed in the office of the City Clerk
on August 18, 1953, be, and,,the same are hereby, approved and adopted
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 otclock P. M. on Tuesday, September 1, 1953, for
the furnishing to the City of thirty-three (33) chrome easy chairs in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
otitaide, "Proposal for 33 chrome easy chairs". or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda 'Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 18th day of August, 1953, by the following vote, to wits
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President
Sweeney, 5).
