Resolution 04804"RESOLUTION NO. 480ti, EECLARING PUBLIC iNTEREST AND NECESSITY REQ7!RE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LANDS FOR PUBLIC STRWRT AND HIGTd; AY PURPOSES RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIFEE1, CITY OF ALAWDA, and said Council hereby finds and determines that the public interest and necessity require the acquisition by said City of Alameda for use by said City for Dublic street and highway purposes, all of those certain lands situ2te, lying and being in said City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: BEING a portion of that parcel of land described in deed to Michael. end Mn"reen Hester and recorded In Book 5668 of Official Records, at Page 593, in the Alameda County Recorder's Office, BEGINNING at a point which is the intersection of the southwesterly line of Otis Drive, 80 feet wide, and the extension of the southeasterly line, of Peach Street, 60 feet wide, as said point and lines are shown on Drawing 3933, Case 51, City Engineer's files, Alameda, California, which is hereby made a part of this instrumont as Exhibit "A" attached, the aforesaid point has the coordinates of Y = 4605052.99 feet and X = 1,W98,003.55 feet based on the California Coordinate System, Zone 39 as are all bearings, distances and coordinates in this description; THENCE along the aforesaid extension of the southeasterly line of Peach Street South,42* 221 17" West 179.98 feet to the South line of Lot 28 as shown on the aforesaid Exhibit "A"; THENCE along the said south line of Lot 28 North 88* 561 24" Vest 69.60 feet to Allardt's Outer Line as iovni on said Exhibit "A"; THENCE along said Allardt's Outer Line, being 4 southerly line of Lot 28 and the south line of Lot 27, Worth 67* 25' 10" West 433.77 feet; "YEENCE North 74* 24? hO" East 118,06 feet; THENCE North 62* 52t 53" East 293.00 feet to a point in the aforesaid south-, westerly line of Otis Drive, 80 feet wide; THENCE along said sauthwesterly line South 47* 171 58" East 295.11 feet to the PCINT OF BEGINNING: and BEINU desiRnated as Parcel No. I on said Exhibit "A". RESOLVED, FURTHER, thnt the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, directed ti`;) coiri,,�aence condemnation proceedings in eminent domain for the acquisition of said lands, and that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, instrunted, authorized end directed, for an on behalf of said City and its City Council, to sObscribe to and verify a comPlaint in the Superior Court of said Alameda County for the condemnation of said lands for public street and highway purposes* Ip the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day cf July, 1953, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President Sweeney, (5).
