Resolution 04802RESOLUTION NO. 4802 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT OF EASEMENT TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN A HIGHWAY BRIDGE ACROSS THE SAN LEANDRO CHANNEL, SAID BRIDGE BEING KNOWN AS THE BAY FARM ISLAND BRIDGE WhEREAS, the State of California,, throur ,h its Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, ged in the conztrurtion of a highway bridge connecting the City of Alameda proper with Bay. Farm Island, and requires a right of way easement for suchmidgeover and across certain tidelands in San Leandro Channel, said tide- lands being under the jurisdiction and control of the City of Alameda under the terms of a grant made by the State of California to the City in 1913; and WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require that such easement be granted in accordance with the terms and conditions of that certain form of grant of easement heretofore prepsred and submitted to this Council; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the it a grant of easement, substantially in the fo'rrl and containing the terms and conditions set forth in the aforesaid form of grant of easement, over and across the following described property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California: COMMENCING at the easterly terminus of that course described as "S. 88-'* 56tio" E., 282.28 feet". in "PARCEL 22" of that Final Order of Condemnation recorded April 2Q., 1951 in Volume 6418, Page 388 of Official Records of Alameda CounMy. said course being the most northerly line of said parcel; therice A *3 3158" E.s 621.20 feet to the southerly line of the parcel of land conveyed to the State of California by, deed recorded March 26, 1952 in Vole 6690, Page 61 of Official Records of Alameda Co.; the along the southerly line of last said parcel N. 88*5940" W., 205.44 feet to the most easterly corner of that parcel of land conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded March 19, 1952 in Vol. 6684, Page 287 of Official Records of Alameda County; thence along the southwesterly line of last said parcel N. 67*22t4O" W.9 74.72 feet to the southwesterly corner of last said parcel; thence S- 4*13135" w., 648.8o feet to said northerly line of first mentioned parcel; thence along said northerly line S. 88*56110" E.9 282.28 feet to the point of commencement. CONTAINING 4-004 acres, more or less.
