WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted a Menorandum ofProject
Agreement for the fiscal year 1953-1954, for the expendituTe of Gas Tax Allocation
for Major City Streets; and
WBEREAS, it is in the public interest that said Agreement should be executed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C?TAT TIL OF THE CITY OF ALAME)k that said
Memorandum of Agreement for Expenditure of Gas Tax Allocation for Major City Streets
for the fiscal year 1953-1954 be entered into, and that the Mayor of the City of
Alameda be, and he Is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement oil
behalf of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk Isauthor; zed to attest the same.
I, the undersigned, hereby cortify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
andregularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular neeting asseribled on the 29th day of June, 1953, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Jones, McCall, Moresi and President Sweeney, (4).
