APPOINTING THUSHAN AMARASIRIWARDENA AS A MEMBER OF THE
LIBRARY BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to the
Alameda Municipal Code Section 2-10.2, and upon nomination of the Mayor, Thushan
Amarasiriwardena is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Library Board of the
City of Alameda for a full term commencing September 20, 2022, and expiring on June
30, 2026, and to serve until a successor is appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 20th day of September 2022 by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Herrera Spencer, Knox White,
Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
