AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 15851 AND 15923 AMENDING THE
2022 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATES
WHEREAS, Section 3-7 (B) of the City Charter of the City of Alameda requires
that the City Council hold regular meetings in the calendar year as fixed by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 15851 on December 21,
2021 setting the regular City Council meeting dates for 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 15923 on June 21, 2022
setting the regular City Council meeting dates for 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor would like Council to consider amending the October
meeting dates to return to the regular schedule of the first and third Tuesday of each
month.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA THAT:
Section 1. The regular City Council meetings in October shall be amended to
Tuesday, October 4, 2022 and Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
Section 2. 2022 Regular Meetings shall convene at 7:00 p.m.
Section 3. Notice of the date and time of the 2022 regular City Council
meetings is hereby given, and the City Clerk is authorized, instructed and directed to
give further or additional notice of the meetings, in the time, form and manner as
required by law.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of September 2022 by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft —

NOES: Councilmembers Herrera Spencer and Knox White - 2.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
