Resolution 16136 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 16136 APPROVING WORKFORCE CHANGES FOR FY 2023-24 WHEREAS, in order to ensure that the City has a workforce that is appropriately allocated, classified and compensated, the following changes are proposed as part of the Mid-Year FY 2023-24 Budget Update; and WHEREAS, in order to ensure positions are correctly allocated based on the work being performed, it is recommended to add two positions, upgrade one position to a higher classification, and reallocate one position to the appropriate departments; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the workforce changes as outlined below are so modified, resulting in an overall increase of two permanent positions, the upgrade of one position, and the reallocation of one position across departments for the Fiscal Year 2023-24. • City Attorney o Convert Part Time to Full Time Deputy City Attorney II — Prosecution Unit. • Finance o Upgrade one Administrative Technician III to Senior Management Analyst. • Finance/Fire o Transfer/reallocate one Administrative Technician III from the Fire Department to the Finance Department. • Planning, Building & Transportation o Add one Senior Management Analyst. * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 20th of February 2024, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Herrera Spencer, Jensen, Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft— 5.
