AGENCY TO THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION (SACIC)
TUESDAY- - MARCH 5, 2024- -6:59 P.M.
Mayor/Chair Ezzy Ashcraft convened the meeting at 7:03 p.m. Vice
Mayor/Commissioner Daysog led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL - Present: Councilmembers/Commissioners Daysog, Herrera
Spencer, Jensen, and Mayor/Chair Ezzy Ashcraft — 4.
Absent: Councilmember/Commissioner Vella — 1.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Expressed concern about City investments in companies which support the war in
Gaza: Laura Thomas, Alameda Friends and Family for a Ceasefire.
Councilmember/Commissioner Herrera Spencer moved approval of the Consent
Calendar.
Councilmember/Commissioner Jensen seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 4. [Absent: Councilmember/Commissioner Vella — 1.] [Items so
enacted or adopted are indicated by an asterisk preceding the paragraph number.]
(*24-105 CC/24-003 SACIC) Recommendation to Accept the Investment Transactions
Report for the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2023. Accepted.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor/Chair Ezzy Ashcraft adjourned the meeting at
7:07 p.m.
