Mayor /Chair Appezzato convened the Special Meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers /Commissioners Daysog,
DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and Mayor /Chair
Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
Public Comment
Marti Buxton, Vice President, Acquisitions and Entitlements,
Catellus Development Corporation, stated Catellus wants the
Settlement Agreement to go forward as is, without further
amendments.
The Special Joint Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to
consider:
(CC 01 -105) (CIC 01 -04) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing
Litigation; Name of Case: Renewed Hope Housing Advocates v. City of
Alameda, Community Improvement Commission, and Alameda Reuse and
Redevelopment Authority.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened and
Mayor /Chair Appezzato announced instructions were given to the City
Attorney /Legal Counsel to proceed with settlement.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor /Chair Appezzato adjourned the
Special Joint Meeting at 7:10 p.m.
