Mayor Appezzato convened the Special Meeting at 6:55 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson,
Kerr and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
[Note: Councilmember Johnson arrived at 7:05 p.m.]
Absent: None.
The Special Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(01 -288) Personnel Matters - Public Employee Appointment; Title:
City Clerk.
(01 -289) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation; Name
of Case: Gomez v. City of Alameda.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened
and Mayor Appezzato announced that regarding Public Employee
Appointment, the Council discussed appointment of the City Clerk
and no action was taken; and regarding Conference with Legal
Counsel, the Council gave instructions to the City Attorney.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Appezzato adjourned the
Special Meeting at 7:10 p.m.
