Mayor Johnson convened the Special Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr,
Matarrese and Mayor Johnson - 5.
Absent: None.
The Special Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(03 -244) Liability Claims; Workers' Compensation Claim; Number of
Claims: Two; Claimants: Joseph Cambra and Robert Glover; Agency
Claimed Against: City of Alameda.
(03 -245) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation; Name
of case: Thomson Transportation Engineers, Inc. v. City of Alameda.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened
and Mayor Johnson announced that regarding Joseph Cambra, the City
Council gave direction to the City Attorney to settle claim;
regarding Robert Glover, the City Council gave direction to the
City Attorney to settle claim; and regarding Conference with Legal
Counsel, the City Council gave direction to the City Attorney.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the
Special Meeting at 7:40 p.m.
