Mayor Appezzato convened the Special Meeting at 6:15 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson,
Kerr and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
The Special Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(00 -630) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation; Name
of Case: Graham, et al v. City of Alameda.
(00 -631) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation; Name
of Case: Alameda Belt Line v. City of Alameda.
(00 -632) Conference with Real Property Negotiator; Property: 1815
Elm Street; Negotiating Parties: City of Alameda and Allied
Housing, Inc.; Under Negotiations: Terms.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened
and Mayor Appezzato announced that regarding Graham, et al v. City
of Alameda, the City Council gave instructions to the City
Attorney; regarding Alameda Belt Line v. City of Alameda, Council
obtained a briefing on the status of litigation; and regarding
Conference with Real Property Negotiator, the Council obtained a
briefing from staff on real property negotiations and gave
directions.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Appezzato adjourned the
Special Meeting at 7:10 p.m.
